- Warranty Information
Each Foodcube provides 1m2 of growing area and can produce over 30kg of herbs and vegetables per year saving hundreds of dollars in supermarket bills to lower the cost of living. The modular design lets you connect up to 20 in a row which greatly reduces the time required to water the garden. Fill from one location or attach to a water tank for fortnightly top-up and water use is reduced by 60% compared to a traditional raised garden bed. No more messing around with builders plastic, rocks, geofabric and pipes, the Foodcube only needs the growing media ( quality potting mix or vegetable mix ) and water. Setup time is greatly reduced as the Foodcube tub is a single mould. Water loss is minimised as the system is sealed to prevent loss to invasive tree roots and because plants are fed from the bottom up, the top layer is typically dry to seal off evaporation. The clever design also lets the roots breathe and trapped heat escape via air vents. Water level is fully adjustable via a rotating arm. Close your own nutrient loop and reduce landfill waste by composting green waste and adding into the Foodcube to grow more food.
Cladding can be added to the Foodcube to change the look and trellis and netting systems are available. Whether it’s for the home gardener, school or community farm, Foodcube offers sustainable soil based food growing at a great price.
